Resident Life-Safety Registry

The details that matter are already on the truck

ResponderReady™ lets residents share what their fire department needs to know before an emergency — medical and mobility needs, where people sleep, access codes, hazards, and pets. When a call comes in at that address, the information is already in front of the crew.

From sign-up to on scene

A resident registers once. Your department verifies it. From then on, it's there on every call to that address — no lookups, no paperwork to dig through.

01

Residents register

Your community fills out a simple, mobile-friendly form — sharing as much or as little as they're comfortable with. Every field is optional. Share the link by mail, social, or a QR code at events.

02

Leadership verifies

An officer reviews each submission and calls the resident to confirm before it's marked verified. A draggable map pin lets you correct the exact location so the right house lights up.

03

Responders see it

When a call comes in within range of a verified address, the profile surfaces automatically — on pre-plans, in the app, and on the station kiosk during an active response.

The information that changes the call

None of it is required. Even one detail — an oxygen tank, a bedridden parent, a locked gate — can change how a crew approaches the scene.

Medical & Mobility

Oxygen in use, limited mobility, wheelchair or bedridden occupants, cognitive conditions, sensory impairments, and bariatric considerations.

Getting In

Knox box and lockbox locations, gate and door codes, hidden key spots, and the best entry point. Codes are encrypted and visible only to responders.

The Home

Residence type, number of stories, basement and attic access, where occupants sleep, and a photo of the front so crews recognize it on arrival.

Utilities

Gas, electric, and water shutoff locations, plus solar panels and propane tanks with their shutoff points — so crews can isolate hazards fast.

Hazards

Firearms, chemicals or hazardous materials, and other on-site hazards — recorded solely for responder safety, never shared outside emergency response.

Pets & Contacts

Pets and livestock on the property, plus emergency contacts who can be reached when the resident can't be.

Community knowledge,
where the call happens

Most departments already know the houses that need extra care — it just lives in someone's head or a binder at the station. ResponderReady™ turns that into structured, verified data that reaches whoever is on the call, including mutual aid crews who've never been to the address.

Surfaces automatically

No lookup. When a verified address is within range of an active call, the profile appears on the kiosk and in the app on its own.

Encrypted & logged

Entry codes are encrypted. Every view, edit, and verification is recorded for a full forensic trail your leadership can review.

Department-scoped

Data belongs to your department alone. Nothing crosses to other agencies — residents share with their fire department, not a network.

A program residents trust

The officer-verification call and a clear privacy promise make this something your community signs up for — and a visible service your department provides.

Built to be trusted

Residents share sensitive details about their home and family. The program is designed, end to end, to honor that.

Codes are encrypted

Gate, door, and lockbox codes are encrypted at rest and decrypted only for authorized responders during a call.

Every action is logged

Views, edits, verifications, and deletions are all recorded with who and when — a complete audit trail for accountability.

Never sold or shared

Information is used solely for emergency response by the resident's own department. It is never sold or shared for any other purpose.

Removable any time

Residents control their own information and can request removal whenever they choose. Registration is always voluntary.

Help your
firefighters help you

If your fire department offers ResponderReady™, registering takes a few minutes and could make all the difference on the worst day. You decide what to share — every field is optional.

After you register, an officer will call the number you provide to confirm your information before it's marked verified. From then on, if you ever have an emergency, your crew arrives already knowing what matters in your home.

⚠ Important: ResponderReady™ does not dispatch emergency services. In any emergency, always call 911 first.
  • Tell responders about anyone who may need extra help getting out — limited mobility, oxygen, or a child's room.
  • Share how to get in quickly: a lockbox, a gate code, or the best door to use.
  • Point out hazards and utility shutoffs so crews stay safe and act fast.
  • List the pets and livestock you'd want a firefighter to look for.
  • Add emergency contacts who can be reached if you can't be.
  • Update or remove your information any time — it's always yours.

ResponderReady™, answered

What is the ResponderReady™ Program?

It's a voluntary resident life-safety registry. Residents share important information about their home and household — medical and mobility needs, access codes, hazards, pets, utility shutoffs, and emergency contacts — with their fire department. The information surfaces automatically for responders during an emergency at that address.

Who can see the information?

Only authorized responders and leadership at the resident's own fire department. Data is strictly department-scoped, every view and edit is logged, and entry codes are encrypted. It is never sold or shared outside emergency response.

Does it replace calling 911?

No. ResponderReady™ does not dispatch emergency services. Residents must always call 911 in an emergency. The registry only helps responders arrive better informed.

How does a department offer it?

ResponderReady™ is included with 911 Analytics. Departments enable the feature, share a registration link or QR code with their community, review and verify submissions, and the verified data flows into pre-plans and the station kiosk automatically.

How is a registration verified?

After a resident submits, a department officer reviews the entry and calls the phone number provided to confirm the details before it's marked verified. Leadership can also correct the map pin so the exact home is identified.
